About Curious Tides

Curious Tides is a coastal mystery brand built around story-rich objects, Augmented Reality books, Mixed Reality experiences, illustrated worlds, and collectible artifacts.

The work begins along the Outer Banks and Hatteras Island, where the sea has always carried more than weather, wreckage, and tide. Curious Tides is rooted in that feeling: that some places hold stories just below the surface, waiting for the right person to notice.

Our first public-facing projects include Echoes of Thalassaria and The Extraordinary Exploits of Elliot and Ellouise Davenport.

Artificial Intelligence Use Statement

Curious Tides uses AI-assisted tools as part of its development process.

These tools may assist with ideation, research, marketing materials, and promotional concepts. AI-generated or AI-assisted content may be used in Curious Tides marketing materials when appropriate, including concept art, mood imagery, mockups, temporary promotional pieces, and other materials used to communicate the vision of a project.

When marketing materials contain AI-generated or substantially AI-assisted content, Curious Tides will clearly label them as such.

Curious Tides does not treat AI as a replacement for craft. All final creative direction, editing, product decisions, design judgment, authorship, and public release choices remain human-led.

The actual products our customers hold in their hands — including story content, artwork, physical artifacts, Extended Reality experiences, and canonical worldbuilding elements — are and always will be human-authored, human-designed, and human-created.

AI is used here as an assistant and instrument: a sketchbook, sounding board, pattern finder, and development aid — not as a substitute for authorship, responsibility, transparency, or the human creative act.

Echoes of Thalassaria

Echoes of Thalassaria is a collection of luminous, story-rich artifacts inspired by the ruins of an ancient civilization beneath the sea.

Each Echo is designed to feel like a fragment recovered from a forgotten world: part sculpture, part relic, part invitation. The pieces connect to the larger mythology of Thalassaria, a lost oceanic culture shaped by moon, tide, memory, and mystery.

Future Echoes may include Augmented Reality elements that reveal hidden scenes, fragments of story, or glimpses into the world that created them.

The Extraordinary Exploits of Elliot and Ellouise Davenport

The Extraordinary Exploits of Elliot and Ellouise Davenport follows a pair of curious young adventurers drawn into a world of hidden maps, vanished parents, coastal legends, and impossible discoveries.

Their first adventure, Moonrise, begins with mystery, inheritance, and the pull of the tide. Elliot and Ellouise — Lee and Lou to each other — must follow clues left behind by their parents and uncover truths that reach far beyond the shore.

The series is being developed as a story world for illustrated books, interactive experiences, and future Augmented Reality storytelling.
